KEEPING YOUR FOOD DIARY
This may seem daunting but is simple and below you will find some completed examples from my husband and myself.
What I need to know is:
- What you eat and drink and at what time. Please be as detailed as you can. If you have coffee, is it decaffeinated, what type of milk, sugar? If you have a sandwich, what type of bread, spread and filling?
- How you feel/your mood and at what time eg headache, tired, bouncy, energised, irritable, stomach pains etc.
- The time you poo and how it was (Use the Bristol Stool Chart shown below). If you are really uncomfortable with this bit, just skip it, but it is a huge indication of how well your system is working and can reveal many diet related issues.
- Anything, absolutely anything else you feel may help me help you.
